Dynamic Security Engineer

We are currently looking for a dynamic Security engineer to join us in our Cardiff Head Office.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate, due to demand, we are setting up a whole new side of the company dedicated to security. This is an ideal opportunity to get in on the ground floor and grow with us.  Ideally the candidates will have good knowledge of installation, servicing and maintaining of intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems.

Your role will be to provide an efficient, professional and comprehensive installation and maintenance service for a wide variety of security systems in residential and commercial properties.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: negotiable dependant on experience

This is an immediate start position for the right candidate

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years working in the security industry
• Solid working knowledge of Galaxy, Texecom, Paxton Access Control and quality CCTV Systems, including Hikvision
• Good communication and computer skills
• Enthusiasm and willingness to work out of normal hours if necessary
• Full driving licence
• Able to competently trouble shoot all types of systems
• Able to think on your feet and to remain calm under pressure
• Personable and equally able to work as part of a team or unsupervised where necessary
• Keen to maintain extremely high standards of workmanship and a professional image at all times
• Customer service focused
• 18th edition electrical regulations (advantageous)
• MEWP licence (advantageous)
• Working at height accreditation (advantageous)
• Pasma (advantageous)

Full training relevant to the job will be provided, depending on the candidate’s specific requirements and experience both in-house and through external courses
